About Me

Welcome to Embracing Potential! I am so glad we've found each other!
I am Jenna - mum, wife, OT, ADHDer, sister, daughter, friend, coach, advocate, entrepreneur and so much more.
After 12 years working in OT and Team Leader roles within the disability, rehabilitation and private practice sectors, I was burnt out, frustrated and lost. I still had a passion for helping others, but I knew I needed a change.
I created Embracing Potential because I know what it feels like to live for years without understanding your own brain. I know the confusion, the shame, and the exhaustion of trying to fit into moulds and systems that weren’t built for me.
My mission is to walk alongside other adults - especially those diagnosed later in life - who are navigating a similar journey. I am here to create safe, affirming spaces where people can see their neurodiversity not as a flaw, but as a different way of being.
I am committed to:
∞ Seeing strengths before struggles
∞ Meeting people where they are, without judgment
∞ Sharing strategies that are practical, flexible, and compassionate
∞ Advocating for environments that honour neurodivergent needs
Even on the days when my own ADHD feels messy and overwhelming, I remember: my imperfections make me relatable, not fraudulent. My lived experience is part of the value I bring. I don’t need to be “fixed” to make a difference — I just need to show up, human to human.
I chose this path because I believe in the potential of people like me - and I believe in helping to embrace it!
I am registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia (OTA).
Occupational Therapy Services
WHO I CAN SUPPORT
Embracing Potential Occupational Therapy supports neurodivergent adults across Australia through individualised, affirming and flexible Telehealth services. Limited face to face sessions are also available for clients within 30 minutes of Highbury, SA.
As an OT with over 12 years of experience working with both adults and children and a lived experience of ADHD, I am passionate about supporting those who may be navigating a late diagnosis, burnout, or who are generally feeling stuck, lost or out of balance.
MY APPROACH
My OT services are founded on the shared understanding that you are not broken and I am not here to "fix you". Your neurodivergent brain is unique, remarkable and capable of endless potential. That does not mean that there are not real challenges that can arise from being neurodivergent in a world that is often not designed for us.
My goal is to equip you with the knowledge you need to embrace who you are, understand how to maximise your strengths, accommodate for those things that weigh you down or hold you back and enable you to live your life to your full potential.
HOW I CAN SUPPORT
My Occupational Therapy assessments and services can support you to:
∞ Build an understanding of your own neurodivergence, how this shows up for you
∞ Grow your self-compassion and self-esteem
∞ Create routines that work with your natural patterns and actually stick
∞ Develop strategies to support executive functioning (planning, organising, task initiation, motivation, time management)
∞ Explore and manage sensory needs across environments and contexts
∞ Build confidence in social situations
∞ Navigate systems, work and study accommodations, environmental adaptations, advocacy and transitions
∞ Organise living spaces to reduce stress and increase efficiency
∞ Find ways to regulate energy and emotions
∞ Identify and engage in meaningful activities
∞ Explore interoception - becoming aware of and connecting with body signals
∞ Enhance life skills (such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, financial management)
∞ Connect with community and support networks
∞ Educate those around you to improve shared understanding and outcomes
SERVICES I PROVIDE
Assessments and Reports: Sensory, Functional Capacity, Environmental (home, workplace).
One to One Therapy: Regular sessions to explore your goals, strengths, motivation and needs and to collaborate on a journey towards better understanding your brain, developing real strategies to enhance your daily life and embrace your unique potential.

It also eliminates the need for travel and can support more consistent engagement.
Our sessions will be set up to promote connection, acceptance and privacy, creating a safe space for you to be yourself and get the most out of our time together. You can feel free to turn up in your pjs, fidget, doodle and take breaks.
